OUR SUNDAY SERVICE
Our church is characterised by solid Bible teaching, and building meaningful relationships together in a relaxed friendly family environment. Whether you're investigating the claims of Jesus, looking to learn more about the Bible, or wanting to get involved in church, we'd love to meet you and help you meet Jesus. You're warmly invited to join us for our weekly service Sundays at 9:30am. We meet at William Cowper Campus, Calrossy Anglican School. Park in the car park and follow the signs.
WHAT TO EXPECT
Dress like you would to the shops, talk like you would at home. Our church is relaxed and welcoming. We want people to feel comfortable and simply engage with God's Word in the Bible.
When you arrive you can expect to be welcomed at the door by some friendly church members. Sit wherever you like. Throughout the service the Bible will be read and taught, someone will pray and we sing. If you haven't been to church before, we want you to feel comfortable knowing you will enjoy the service from the comfort of your seat. You don't have to sing unless you feel comfortable, though we hope you find yourself humming along, and in time, find yourself agreeing with the words being sung.
Our service usually goes for between an hour and an hour and a half. Stick around after the service for a chat and some morning tea. We'd love to meet you. Before you leave, grab a welcome pack and fill out a visitor Connect Card – we'd love to know you came and what you thought.
GOT KIDS?
We have a number of babies and children in our Sunday service and they are very welcome! Don’t be worried about noise, we aren’t. We believe church is for both adults and children. Children stay in for the first part of our service and this includes some singing and a ‘kids spot’. Then there is the opportunity to send you 3- 5 year olds and infants & primary aged children to our Sunday Kids Program, where they will learn from the Bible in age appropriate activities with our trained kids leaders. There is also a parents room available for children aged 0-2 during this time if you need it. All of our staff, Sunday Kids and creche leaders have completed Safe Ministry Training and have current Working With Children Checks.
FINDING US
Our service is held at Calrossy Anglican School, William Cowper Campus, in the Peter Chiswell Hall.
There is ample parking in the William Cowper car park. Follow the signs from there to the Hall.
